Is this vacation rental located in Kamuela or Waimea?

Great question—they’re actually the same place! Kamuela is the official postal name for the town of Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii. Locals use both names interchangeably. Our rental is located in the Mauna Lani Golf Villas, just outside Waimea in the sunny, resort-side stretch of the Kohala Coast.

What is the check-in/check-out time?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM onwards, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you need flexibility, reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Is your Kohala Coast rental pet-friendly?

We love animals, however pets are not allowed in Golf Villa properties.

What amenities are included?

Is there cell phone service and WiFi?

Yes. We offer high-speed Wi-Fi (up to ~1 Gbps). Most mobile networks have decent reception on the Big Island; service can be spotty in certain areas like Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park or the Mauna Kea summit.

Does the condo have air conditioning?

Yes. Air conditioning is available. The island’s steady breezes often keep things comfortable—feel free to open windows and use screen doors for natural airflow, and use the AC on warmer days.

Are there any nearby restaurants or shops?

Yes—local shops and restaurants are a short drive away. We provide dining, grocery, and attraction recommendations upon request. Booking ahead is smart during high season.

What is the cancellation policy?

We offer a flexible cancellation policy. Please check the specific terms on your booking platform (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.), or contact us with any questions.
