Why Birdies&Beach?
The name Birdies & Beach was born from two things that bring Desiree (owner) lasting joy: a perfectly played round of golf—and a slow, salty afternoon by the sea.
Here on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island, you’ll find both. Championship golf courses carved into black lava rock. Quiet coves with calm, swimmable waters. Palm trees swaying overhead while you sip a post-round drink on the lanai. It’s that rare balance of adventure and stillness that makes this place special.
We chose the name Birdies & Beach for our Kamuela vacation rental to reflect what this retreat offers our guests:
